One of Mt. Olive’s DNA principles for a healthy church life is the concept of “Next Step Spiritual Growth”. No matter how old or young, every person has a next step to take in their faith journey. Discipleship Groups encourage continued growth in Biblical knowledge and relationship with Christ. Mt. Olive encourages you to find a Discipleship Group that works for you and your schedule!

• Discipleship Classes- Topical, Biblically-based, short term classes are offered throughout the year at various times and places. Classes include women’s & men’s bible studies, parenting classes, financial classes and many other various topics. For a list of upcoming classes see Upcoming Events at Mt. Olive.



• Living Rooms – Living Rooms are a small group discipleship format that are made up of 8-12 people. These groups meet in group members homes during the week. Living Rooms are designed to allow group members to grow closer together and explore a deeper faith with God. Each small group series runs 6-8 weeks.
• Mt. Olive Men’s Group – Mt. Olive Men’s Group is an active prayer, service and fellowship ministry for men of all ages. This great ministry includes:
  • A weekly Wednesday evening prayer and fellowship gathering from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
  • Working on community mission projects with the Faith In Action Ministry
  • A variety of service projects to raise money for missions, such as….
    • Working “First Fridays”- a monthly citywide festival during the summer
    • A “Cooker Ministry”- a traveling barbecue grill for fundraising
    • Special building projects
• Sunday School – Sundays 10:45-11:45 a.m.  Sunday School classes are discipleship groups that meet at Mt. Olive on Sunday mornings.  We offer a variety of classes for all ages.
