Birth – 6th Grades

During services while you get to relax, decompress and hear God’s great plans for you – your kids get a chance to do the same thing. In a fun, safe, age-appropriate environment, they’re having a blast, being creative, interacting and learning about the love of God.  Mt Olive Kids loves to introduce children to the loving, creative, fun, relationally driven God of the universe and train up children to love, trust and serve Him.

Nursery 9:00 & 10:30 a.m.
Nursery care is provided for the entire hour for the worship service and Sunday School time for newborns through 2 year olds. Pagers are available in order to contact parents if their child needs them.

Kids Worship 9:00 a.m.
What? Kids’ Worship is a fun interactive children’s worship time where the children have an opportunity to connect with through music, games and activities that teach a Bible story and application geared for their age level!
Who? All children ages 3 through the 4th grade.
Where? Elementary children can be signed in at the Fellowship Hall starting at 8:50 a.m.  Preschool children can be signed in at the yellow Preschool room in the Children’s wing.

KidVenture 10:30 a.m.

At KidVenture kids learn about one Bible story each month for the WHOLE month.  During that month kids will get to explore the story through different mediums including: Computers, Cooking, Art, Video, Games, Drama and more! There is a memory verse each month that relates the main point of the story.

Gathering Time
When children arrive they are checked in and given a name tag (parents are given a pick-up tag – see Security below.) Children are then able to join in a large group gathering that includes praise and worship, offering, prayer, memory verse practice and an introduction to the Bible story. This gathering time usually lasts about 15 minutes.

Workshops
After gathering time the children are divided into age groups and go to workshops.  The workshops are different each month but include: Creation Station (art), Hollywood Theater (video), Fish.net (computers), Parable Productions (drama), Mary and Martha’s Kitchen (cooking), Galilee Games (games), and more! These workshops include finding the Bible story in the Bible and then relating it to the medium of the workshop. Workshops generally last about 40 minutes.

What? Club 56 is an awesomely fun, Sunday night youth ministry where students eat dinner together, play awesome games, have an interactive, entertaining Bible lesson, and build authentic relationships with other students and caring adults.
Who? 5th and 6th Grade Students
When? Sundays 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Where? Club 56 meets  in Fellowship Hall.

Mt Olive Kids offers children and their families special opportunities throughout the year. Some of these opportunities include:
