Children’s Bible Recommendation

One of the faith skills we continue to try to teach kids at Mt. Olive is “Navigating the Bible”. In order to do this, we are encourage every child to bring their own Bibles to Sunday School each week in the 5 year old through 6th grade classes. We want the kids to feel comfortable reading and studying their Bibles.

If your child currently has a Readers’ or story Bible, a children’s NIV devotional Bible is recommended. There are many kinds available. Take some time to look for one that your child will enjoy. There are Super Hero Bibles, Girls Bibles, etc. The important thing is that you and your child find a devotional Bible that you both like.

These make a great keepsake gift for any occasion!

Music Resources

Music has a huge influence in all our lives from the time we are little through adults. There are some great CDs out there that will help you and your child form a firm foundation of faith and help develop your family’s personal worship times with God. You can find many of the CDs used in Kids Kingdom here at Mt. Olive at the ReThink Store or at the Willowcreek website. Below are some recommendations:
