Care Packages

It is time for the UMW to get those Care Packages ready for the Mt Olive college students. If you have a college student in your family, please give their name and address to Mary in the church office or email to mary@mtoliveumc.com before Feb 10th!

Also, start collecting items to donate to these packages but no scented/perfumed items as they may contaminate the food items. UMW will be accepting items such as microwave popcorn, individually wrapped items, fast food coupons, ink pens and paper, toothbrush and toothpaste. There will be a donation box in the foyer until Feb 12th. Thank you for sharing your love!

Prayer Walkers Club

Have you vowed to gift fit this new year? Why note join our new walking club? Our church has the perfect walking climate year round to help you with your exercise goal.

We have mapped out a route in the church that will help you keep track of the miles you walk and you can even record them in the PWC journal that is located in the Gathering Area. The church is open Monday through Friday 8:00a to 4:00p plus some evenings.

You are free to come walk any time the church is open. While you are walking, why not take the opportunity to pray!

Orientation

Are you new to Mt. Olive and want to know more about what we offer? Have you been here for a while and want to know more about what we offer? Then we would like to let you know about our Orientation experience we will be offering on Sunday, January 22nd at 6:00 p.m. in Room 3 in the new building.

This Orientation will be led by Pastor Steven Walker and will give attendees a sketch of what Mt. Olive is all about and how the church can help you grow in your spiritual journey.

Married People

Attention All Married Couples!!

In January & February we will be hosting a Short Term Spiritual Growth Group for you! The group is called “Married People” and is open to married couples of all ages. We will be meeting on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. in the Gathering Space starting January 15th and going through February 12th.

We will be providing childcare, so if you have kids, please let us watch them as you connect with other couples.

The leaders for this group will be Pastor Steve Schaal, Leanne Holthaus, and Rev. Lamar Imes. You can sign up for this group at the Discipleship Center or by filling out the info on the tear off in the worship folder.

Blood Pressure Checks

The blood pressure clinic is moving to the north west hallway of the new building (under the windows).

The new times starting in NOVEMBER:8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and after first service until the start of the second service.

They will continue to do them on the second Sunday of each month.
