My favorite thing about working at Mt. Olive: I love getting to know the people and hearing their stories of life and faith. Mt Olive has a wide variety of ages and people with interesting life experiences.
My favorite Bible verse: Isaiah 41: 10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. “
My hobbies: I love photography, guitars, backpacking and playing at golf.
My family: My wife, Cheryl, and I have three children, Tonya, Brent and Ryan. Brent and his wife Cari also share their son, Mathaes, and daughter, Nevaeh to make us very happy grandparents!
My most interesting experience: (I assume you mean something other than getting a “hole in 8″ playing golf…) Cheryl and I had a wonderful time visiting our son in Monterrey, Mexico several years ago while he was there on a teacher’s exchange.
My iPod favorites: (That’s the newer version of the 8 Track, Bob…) I enjoy many of the contemporary artists like Sons of Maxwell, Chris Tomlin, Rich Mullins, and Don and Wendy Francisco. I also like the guitarists Tommy Emmanuel and Murel Anderson. (On days when I can get my 8 track to work..) I love the folk singers and most of the 60′s and 70′s music…

Activities have started with our new building project. You can see the beginnings of our extended parking lot, and the existing black top is being removed within the bounds of the new addition. Through the sacrificial offerings and commitments of our church family, we are happy to announce that we will break ground on the new building addition this July! This new addition includes a new youth center, Sunday School classrooms, a new foyer, a new music room, and more storage areas.
