Steve Schaal, Youth Director

My favorite thing about working at Mt. Olive:
The relationships I have built here, the teens, and growing spiritually
My favorite Bible verse:
John 15 (the whole chapter)
My hobbies:
I love to play board games (Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Euchre, Wasabi, etc.), playing Star Wars miniatures, watching football, and spending time with my wife and baby girl!!
My family:
I am married to my wonderful wife Dana and we had a little girl named Addison on June 27th of 2009. We also claim our yellow lab Ollie as our child!!
My most interesting experience:
When I first was hired at Mt. Olive I was told I was going to be one of the leaders of a Youth trip to Honduras. I had never been out of the country to that point, but when I went I fell in love with a group of kids!! It has been an awesome adventure building relationships at Project Manuelito!!
My iPod favorites:
David Crowder, Steve Fee, Aaron Shust, Hillsong United, & podcasts by Rob Bell, Francis Chan, and Matt Chandler
